Hi, I’m Emry!

I’m the person behind Rest Required, a sticker and stationery shop inspired by mental health, chronic illness, neurodivergence, and the humor that comes with all of it.

I have POTS and ADHD, so a lot of what I create comes from my own experiences. Some ideas are based on things I’ve experienced personally, while others come from the everyday weirdness, frustration, and humor that can come with navigating life a little differently.

Why “Rest Required”?

Because rest isn't something we should have to earn.

For people living with chronic illness, mental illness, disability, or neurodivergence, rest can come with guilt. We’re often expected to push through, keep up, be productive, and pretend our bodies and brains work exactly like everyone else's.

Rest Required is my little reminder that you don't have to.

You are allowed to slow down.
You are allowed to accommodate yourself.
You are allowed to have bad days.
You are allowed to laugh at the absurdity of it all.

And you are absolutely allowed to take up space exactly as you are.
